Matt Lernor, President
Matt has been in the asset-based lending industry since 1993. Prior to that, he worked as a senior audit manager, specializing in financial institutions for KMPG Peat Marwick in Phoenix. He started his career as an auditor for Arthur Andersen & Co. in Chicago after completing his Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois. He is a certified public accountant and a member in Vistage International.

Gregg Sharp, Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer
Gregg has been in the asset-based lending industry since 1994. Prior to that, he was the assistant controller at Swift Transportation and a senior auditor at KPMG Peat Marwick, specializing in financial institutions and transportation. Gregg is a certified public accountant and received his accounting degree from Southern Utah University.

John Roberts, Senior Vice President and Marketing Manager
John has been in the asset-based lending industry since 1988 with Fleet Capital, GE Capital, Citigroup and Bank of America in Los Angeles and Phoenix. Prior to that, he worked as an auditor for Arthur Andersen & Co. in Dallas and Phoenix. He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Turnaround Management Association and the Commercial Finance Association. He has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from Arizona State University and is a certified public accountant.

Julie Kistler, Vice President and Credit Underwriter/Business Development
Julie has been in the asset-based lending and banking industry since 1980. She joined First Community Financial in 1994 and has held leadership positions in the areas of field examination, underwriting, and business development. Prior to joining First Community, Julie performed commercial loan reviews and commercial loan underwriting for Bank One. She is a member of the Risk Management Association and the Turnaround Management Association.

Susan Agnew, Vice President of Finance and Factoring
Susan has been in the banking industry since 1982. She started her career with Citicorp in the mortgage division and joined First Community Financial in 1989. Susan is an active member of Vistage International.

Bryan Kort, Vice President of Business Development
Bryan began his asset-based lending career in 1992 with First Community Financial. Bryan was responsible for all of the initial marketing efforts in the Southwest. He spent 8 years working for two Arizona-based community banks before returning to First Community in 2010. Currently, he is a member of the Risk Management Association and the Turnaround Management Association. He has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Arizona.

Allan Gibbel, Vice President of Business Development
Allan began his asset-based lending career with First Community Financial in 1999. Prior to that, he spent 8 years working for Diebold and The John Harland Co. where he sold hardware and software products to financial institutions throughout Southern California. Allan is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and has a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Finance from Cal State Fullerton.

Eric Fenmore, Vice President of Business Development
Eric has been in the asset-based lending industry since 1990 and joined First Community Financial in 2010. He started his career with MFR Financial and worked for King Trade Capital for nine years. Eric is an active member of the California Chapter of the Commercial Finance Association as well as Provisors. He studied Economics at UCLA and the London School of Economics where he earned his Bachelors of Arts Degree.

Doug Forbes, Vice President of Business Development
Doug joined First Community Financial in 2011 with over 20 years of prior experience in the asset-based lending industry with Signal Capital and Frost Capital in Houston. Prior to that, he worked as an auditor for Arthur Andersen & Co. in Houston. Doug has a degree in accounting from the University of Houston and is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Turnaround Management Association.

Kami Cass, Vice President of Factoring
Kami joined First Community Financial in 2008. Prior to that, she spent 20 years working in the construction industry as a credit manager.

Kurt Kiesling, Vice President of Credit Administration
Kurt joined First Community Financial in 2005. Prior to that, he was Vice President of IRA and Bond Operations for a corporate trust company specializing in church bond financing. Kurt has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance from Arizona State University.

Shane Luke, Vice President of Credit Administration
Shane joined First Community Financial in 2010 with ten years of prior experience in the asset-based lending industry as a relationship manager and collateral examiner at Wells Fargo Business Credit. Prior to that, he worked in various accounting positions with Albertson’s Stores and Delta Dental Plan of Arizona. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from Arizona State University.

Sherry Rutledge, Credit Administrator
Sherry has served in various accounting and finance positions since 1973, working in many different industries, including transportation, utilities, construction, real estate, property management and retail. Sherry joined First Community Financial in 2001.
